No. 86 (Square and Round, No. 86) Mixed Media, paper collaged on canvas. The reverse signed, dated and titled: 'Zhang Guolong, No. 86, 1999' with dimensions. In addition two further works by Zhang Guolong. Mixed Media, paper collaged on canvas, each 70 x 70 cm. The reverse of each signed 'Zhang Guolong'. Zhang Guolong, born in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, studied art at the Xi'an Art Academie and later also at the universities of Kassel and Mainz, Germany, where he graduated in 1997. Today he is professor in the department for experimental art at the Central Institute for Fine Art, Beijing and well known as an artist, especially in China.
