1920'S RARE ALASKA CORK LINED Dry ICE BOX - IVORY & TEAL GREEN ENAMEL Very Rare - from an old Chicago estate - appraised by the Antiques Roadshow approximate value up to $7000 - not to be confused with the old and heavy oak ice boxes - this is very light in comparison and used Dry Ice - late 1920's - it was the height of style and elegance for the time - this company was later to become Norge - would be a a great piece retrofitted with a new refrigerator using this as a skin in say a Mission Style Bungalow !
