The folios exhibit the characteristic elongated format associated with traditional Asian manuscript production, intended for handwritten or block-printed texts. Such volumes were commonly used for religious, philosophical, or scholarly writings, and reflect long-established bookmaking traditions across South and Southeast Asia. The visible wear, patination, and soft toning of the paper attest to age and handling, lending the group an appealing sense of authenticity and historical use.
