Ca. 1000 BC A bronze figure of a bull with a compact body supported on four straight legs, standing on an integral rectangular plinth. Its head has a rounded muzzle and circular eyes, surmounted by a solar disc set between the horns, the neck with a pronounced dewlap and the back with a low hump along the spine. Size: 120mm x 110mm; Weight: 565g. Provenance: Private London collection; acquired in Germany; formerly with C. E. Schultze collection, Munich, late 1980s.
