AD 1000 - 1300 A bronze basin with a deep body and a multi-lobed rim forming a star-shaped contour, the centre set with a small rosette and the interior faces of the lobes decorated with a continuous calligraphic band and central roundels. Size: 155mm x 585mm; Weight: 3.5kg. Provenance: Private UK collection; acquired on the London art market; formerly in the private collection of D. Ruskin, Oxford, 1990s. For similar see: V.
