Each with Ink and on paper, mounted India, ca. 1760-1780 Pahari School, probably Guler Black ink inscriptions and/or notations Two scenes from a Ramayana series executed in the third quarter of the Eighteenth Century in Guler by the atelier associated with the first generation after Nainsukh Depicted in one drawing is Lakshmana and Rama aim arrows at an attacking army of asuras (demons) accompanied by their monkey allies hurling boulders and a tree-trunk, and Rama and his monkey army battle the asura King Ravana and his demon hordes on the other Provenance: Watermill Center Dimensions: 7 ½ x 11 in (19 x 23 in), each, one is ½ in smaller in width Good condition Condition In overall good condition with signs of age and wear.
