Bakhshaesh, Northwest Persia, 1880 circa, 370 x 290 cm. Large geometrized floral ornamentation decorate the central blue medallion on white background and the light blue corners in soft, pastel colors. Especially attractive and eye catching is the very large proportioned main border with an expressivly drawn Herati-border-ornamentation.
