From the private family collection of a West London gentleman; previously in the personal collection of Harmadar Singh Thind; thence by descent; this lot has been checked against the Interpol Database of stolen works of art and is accompanied by AIAD certificate number no.10981-181140. An Indian artist of the post-independent era. He was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, the second-highest civilian award of the Republic of India, in 1999.
