Oil on canvas painting by Narayan Shridhar Bendre, also known as N.S. Bendre, 1910 to 1992, an Indian artist, founder of the Baroda group, an experimental art school which offered an alternative to the nationalism associated with Santiniketan and the Bengal School. The artwork depicts a multi-figure scene, people walking to a Hindu temple. This painting combines traditional Indian miniature painting with French Pointillism. Untitled.
