The youthful figure is modelled with softly rounded limbs and a gently flexed torso, conveying rhythm and grace characteristic of mature Chola bronzes. The serene facial expression, almond-shaped eyes and restrained detailing reflect the classical South Indian sculptural canon. The figure cast using the lost-wax technique, retaining a deep, naturally developed dark patina with areas of ritual wear. The modelling emphasizes volume and movement rather than surface ornamentation, consistent with early devotional bronzes intended for temple ritual use. Mounted on a later circular stone base.
