A pair of egg shells with tops cut open, cleaned, and decorated with gold designs. One has gold interior + leaf/flower design with butterflies; the second a little taller with bamboo/bat decoration, exquisite. Seated on wood stands. Made in Japan circa 1850, unmarked. Condition: a chip on the gold interior at the top edge of one; a crack at the top of the other - as shown. One measures 3.5" high on stand; the other measures 3.75" high on stand
