Kishi Ganku (1749 or 1756-1839) Ganku studied painting with Mori Ransai (1740-1801) in a naturalistic and Western influenced style. He went to Kyoto to become a professional painter and possibly was in contact with Maruyama Okyo (1733-1795). Ganku is known for his impressive tiger paintings for which he painstakingly studied the skulls of tigers and their physiognomy, Shipping costs excl. statutory VAT and plus 2,5% (+VAT) shipping insurance.
