Two Items: A Victorian shell cameo brooch. The oval conch shell is finely hand-carved with a Neoclassical rendition of Bertel Thorvaldsen's 'Day' (Aurora/Eos), depicting the goddess scattering roses with the Genius of Light on her shoulder. The cameo is rub-over set within an 18 carat yellow gold bezel and accented by a decorative hollow-tubing frame. Supported by a brass backing with a brass pin and C-clasp, featuring a base metal safety chain. Note: Item is unmarked; acid-tested as 18ct gold on the frame. A set of three antique shirt studs. Each stud features a faux-pearl top. The set includes one 9 carat rose gold stud (stamped '9CT'), one silver stud, and one brass stud.  Weight: 32.50 grams
