POSSIBLY SAKAI HOITSU (1761-1829) 18TH/19TH CENTURY FRAMED SCROLL PAINTING ON SILK, Rimpa school from the Tale of Ise, Narihira passing Mount Fuji on his journey to the east, signed Hoitsu Hitsu and with artist seal Bunsen. Similar compositions of this image can be found by Sakai Hoitsu's student Suzuki Kiitsu's son Suzuki Shuitsu. Image 102cm x 45 cm.
