It was also one of the last Disney animated films produced during Walt Disney's life time. This production cel features a particularly beautiful moment in the films' artwork when Sleeping Beauty is alone in a virgin meadow. This production cel is in very good condition. It has not been inspected outside of the frame. Marc Fraser Davis (1913 - 2000) Named a "Disney Legend," in 1989, Marc Davis made his career as a prominent animation artist for Walt Disney Studios. He was one of the Disney, "Nine Old Men," of which made up the core animators behind Disney's most cherished films. Davis is primarily known for his work on such characters as, Snow White, Bambi, Thumper, Cinderella and her stepsisters, Alice from, "Alice in Wonderland," Tinker Bell, Cruella de Vil, Aurora and Maleficient from, "Sleeping Beauty".
