139306 - Robert Osborn (1904 - December 1994) was a very talented and revered artist, illustrator and satirist. His passing in 1994 made national news. Another in the set of 5 original works on paper given as a gift to famous gallery owner Curt Valentin. Loosely titled 'Bon Voyage', this piece is done by hand in crayon on thin art paper and measures 8 1/2" x 11". It reads "Curt: Bon Voyage and don't forget that a plane is so carefully loaded and balanced for flight that even after it manages to stagger into the air, it resents any moving around. Bonne Chance and no wiggling! Bob". A GREAT piece!!!
