Zeno Diemer’ on verso Dimensions: 60 x 80 cm Good condition Paintings by the artist fetch up to €100,000 at international auctions The painter Michael Zeno Diemer studied at the Munich Academy under Gabriel von Hackl and Alexander von Liezen-Mayer. He went on numerous study trips among others to Genoa, Naples and Capri as well as overseas. As a result marine and coastal landscapes became his main subject. At the beginning of the 20th century he traveled to the Orient, Egypt and Turkey. The painting is stamped on the reverse ‘M. Zeno Diemer’ and is in good overall condition with light signs of age and wear. Due to a small dent in the middle of the canvas tiny color chipping. Scattered superficial abrasions within the representation, otherwise good condition. The image measures 60 x 80 cm. Shipping costs excl. statutory VAT and plus 2,5% (+VAT) shipping insurance.
