Signed lower right: J.v.Kessel fecitCertificateKlaus Ertz, 13th July 2016Klaus Ertz dates this work to 1660. He considers it to be a pendant to Kessel's "Allegory of Peace" (op. cit. p. 387, no. 707). Both works are loosely based on pieces by Jan Brueghel the Younger.
