Oil on canvas, each doubled. One painting with forest landscape, on the left with view of a street and human figures. On the reverse of the tenter frame inscribed "Gillis van Coninxloo (1544-1607), Weltkunst magazine No. 13, 1962". The second painting with river scenery and bridge, in the foreground street with travellers. On the tenter frame inscribed "David Vinckeboons 1578 - 1629". In identical, contemporary, finely carved and gilt frames with partly chiselled décor in rich relief. Dimensions of each painting 22 x 30 cm, with frame 29 x 38 cm. Condition: II -
