Roger Tory Peterson was the most well-respected painter of birds in the twentieth century. His books and guidebooks on birds have far outsold all other books on the subject put together. Mr. Peterson was also an extremely well-respected, award-winning photographer. His efforts lead to the creation of the North American Nature Photography Association where he was considered "the father of wildlife photography"On behalf of the Roger Tory Peterson Estate and Museum, a small number of unique printers were created in 2012. Each Peterson photograph is numbered 1/1 and stamped with the Estate seal. Each is accompanied by an appraisal. Professionally matted 20"x 24".
