작품 상세

Artist: RICK GRIFFIN (1944-1991) & ALTON KELLEY (1940-2008) Size: 28 3/8 x 21 7/8 in./72 x 55.5 cm Tea Lautrec Litho. This was the first of many double-sized posters promoting the longer rock shows produced by Bill Graham in the late 1960s. On the bill for these four, three-day-long concerts are some of the greatest performers from that era, including The Who, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and the Grateful Dead. Utilizing the classic triptych form, Griffin and Kelley present devilish figures framing an otherworldly scene, contrasting beautifully with the sugar-pop bubble lettering and bright color palette.
