Nooms, R. (called Zeeman) (±1623-1667). The 'Vrijheijt', a man-of-war and the 'Hazewind', a merchantman for Spain. Etching from the series Verscheyde Schepen en Gesichten van Amstelredam, part II (12 plates), 13,4x24,6 cm., captions and numb. "3" in the plate below the image. - Trimmed to the platemark and partly to the borderline; tiny restored spot in upper margin and tiny chipped spot. = Hollstein 43, 1st state (of 2), before the letter "b". With the collector's stamp of Bernhard Keller (1789-1870) on verso (Lugt 384). SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE CLV.
