Museum quality oil painting of Santa Cecilia on metal attributed to Carlo Dolci (Italian,1616-1686). Carlo Dolci was an Italian painter of the Baroque period, active mainly in Florence, known for highly finished religious pictures, often repeated in many versions. Measures 15" (38.1cm) height by 11" (27.94cm) width plus 3" (7.62cm) frame. Provenance: From an Italian lady, 80 years in age, residing in Miami. She and her husband were lovers of antiques and purchased items, mainly artwork, from antique stores and auctions. She lived first in Italy, then in Venezuela and currently in the USA.
