Nooms, R. (called Zeeman) (±1623-1667). Several sailing-vessels and merchantmen. Seven (of 8) etchings, each ±11,5x20 cm. - Without the title etching. All prints trimmed to/ on the borderline (w. loss of the number below); pinholes in corners (almost invisible); Hollstein 92 cut short, but present in the 2nd state (before the rework); all laid down on mount. = All prints in the 2nd state (of 2/3). Comprises: A merchant man careened for caulking the hull (Hollstein 89); Fleet of Dutch merchantmen lying at anchor (Hollstein 90); Two large flute-ships with flags (Hollstein 91); A merchantman (Hollstein 92); Ship careened for caulking (Hollstein 93); Dismantled sailing-vessel in a rocky bay (Hollstein 94); A merchantman of which the hull is being caulked (Hollstein 95).
