ARMSTRONG NEIL: (1930- ) American Astronaut, Commander of Apollo XI (1969). The first man to walk on the moon. An unusual, charming 9 x 7 colour pen and ink drawing by a child, depicting Armstrong standing in a full length pose in his spacesuit on the moon, alongside the United States flag. The lunar module can be seen in the background and in the sky appear various stars (decorated with silver stickers) and planets. Signed by Neil Armstrong with his name alone to a clear area in black ink. The signature is a little weak in places, although completely legible. Neatly mounted and with five small pinholes to the edges. Loosely contained in a cream matt to an overall size of 13 x 11.5. G
