APOLLO XI: A set of three individual signed colour 8 x 10 photographs by the crew members of Apollo XI (1969) comprising Neil Armstrong (1930- ) American Astronaut, Commander of Apollo XI, the first man to walk on the moon, Buzz Aldrin (1930- ) American Astronaut, Lunar Module Pilot of Apollo XI, the second man to set foot on the moon and Michael Collins (1930- ) American Astronaut, Command Module Pilot of Apollo XI. Each of the images depict the astronauts standing in half length poses wearing their white spacesuits. A large image of the moon can be seen in the background of each photograph. Signed and inscribed by Armstrong ('To Trevor Dell - Neil Armstrong') in blue ink to a light area of the image; signed and inscribed by Aldrin ('To Jim Brookshire, With best wishes, Buzz Aldrin') in bold black ink to a light area of the image; and signed by Collins ('Mike Collins') in bold blue ink with his name alone to a clear area of the image. All are individually matted in black and framed and glazed in matching dark blue mottled frames to an overall size of 12.5 x 16 each. Some surface creasing to Armstrong's photograph, G to VG, 3
