APOLLO XI: Bold black ink signatures by both Neil Armstrong (1930- , American Astronaut, Commander of Apollo XI (1969). The first man to walk on the moon)and Buzz Aldrin (1930- , American Astronaut, Lunar Module Pilot of Apollo XI (1969). The second man to set foot on the moon) individually on a white card. Together with a signed First Day Cover by Michael Collins (1930- , American Astronaut, Command Module Pilot of Apollo XI, 1969), the cover commemorating Apollo XI and featuring small images of the three crew members. With two postal cancellations, one bearing the date of the moon landing, 20th July 1969. Signed ('M Collins') in black ink with his name alone to a clear area. The card and First Day Cover have been professionally double matted in blue suede beneath a colour 10 x 8 photograph of the three astronauts and an Apollo XI mission patch. Framed and glazed in a silver coloured frame to an overall size of 16.5 x 31.5. EX
