ARMSTRONG NEIL: (1930- ) American Astronaut, Commander of Apollo XI (1969). The first man to walk on the moon. Bold black ink signature ('Neil Armstrong') on a colour printed 12mo bookplate featuring an illustration of an armillary sphere. Annotated in block letters in another hand at the head of the bookplate, 'Footprints on the Moon, Property of Mrs Marie Johnson'. Together with a small selection of First Day Covers individually signed by various American Astronauts and Russian Cosmonauts including John Glenn, Gordon Cooper, Jack Lousma, Owen Garriott, Pyotr Klimuk, Svetlana Savitskaya, Alexander Serebrov etc. Multiple signed (1).
